... for your thoughts run your life. Proverbs 4:23 (depending on translation...) - Appropriate in this case, I think :D

This is a collaboration with :iconbirdco: and kind of a follow up to this:

I think Twi's crazy face in black and white is possibly even freakier than in full colour...

Background available here.

Individual pony vectors here [link]

Crazy Twilight symbol here [link]

I think I may make a short tutorial/explanation on Inkscape's filter effects that I used for the nighttime filters on the ponies. I defined my own for this comic as the filter I had used previously looked far too blue.

22/08/12 Welcome Equestria Dailyites :D

I read it and the only thing that passion me is Pinkie Pie.Love that you mixed Ponyville and Sherlock Holmes(I love that book). The only thing is that they needed some coats and it should be black and white that will spice things up if you want a mash-up with Sherlock Holmes.I liked the warning you put meanless to say, should be awesome.Minotaurs are one of the things are awesome. With Twilight's concentration and Pinkie Pie's randomness made this comic fun.And who's behind all this case of Minotaurs.Could be....Dixie?All I got to say is that I love My little pony:Friendship is magic it makes me happy(yes,I'm a brony :D)

Oh Daring Dashie, good job once again.

You have successfully done another beautiful job with the scenery. I'm gonna nitpick first and then tell you all the things I love.

Pinkie's chest looks just a bit too buff, mainly in the second panel. Also, in the third panel, I imagine her randomness has her springing into action to chase the firefly, much like her love-able bouncy walk, but I don't feel it. I'm not sure if it's the legs, or if their should be lines to gesture she's jumping with that Pinkie Pie pep we all know and love, but she feels more like she was placed there rather than me feeling she's jumping.

Now to the good! Aside from what I mentioned above, it's as if you pulled a screen cap right from the actual show. I can't really go much into detail about that since such a compliment pretty much sells itself. You do fantastic work. Love the facial expressions, especially Twilight's in the third panel. A strong sense of befuddlement as the unicorn tries to ponder Pinkie's sanity, as it correlates to her keeping her own.

Can't wait for the next one!

Could've said are you pondering what I'm pondering. Then it would have been Pinkie Pie and the Brain.

Reminds me of the time I tried a tabletop RPG

we had to escourt a wagon and the axle broke.

this was the Bard's response
"I need six chickens, a bathtub, a 3 foot spatula and an angry wolverine!"

on the plus side he actualy fixed the thing. On the other, the mage's head blew up.

Trust me, I AM Pinkie Pie's thought process, am I the only one that understands it?

well obviously.

The llama's tracks were really going to find hay and it only happened to look like the minotaur because, they were carrying Jackhammers. Of course you can't really find them this late at night So the Fireflies are an excellent diversion to help locate them.

And the mintoaur....well... I don't even know what Twilight's going on about.

That is SO funny I literally laughed out loud! What in the world is going through Twilight's mind? I don't know if I want to know, but it's funny to imagine!

Knowing Pinkie's solution to the Parasprite problem, however, the solution is probably perfectly rational for dealing with a minotaur. Slip him up on the butter, have the llamas hold him down, and it's JACKHAMMER TIME!!!! (Of course, that might be kind of bloody for a kid's show... and are llamas the natural enemy of minotaurs? Llamas ARE pretty awesome...)

Great Scriptural reference, I agree that it certainly fits the scenario. I'd hate to have Pinkie's thought processes rule my life, since my own thoughts are (as you can see) disturbing enough at times.

Note to self: NEVER bring Pinkie Pie to solve another mystery again. Nonsense will happen.

Reminds me of Kenan and Kel.
Pinkie: "Hey, Twilight, I've got a great idea. Go find two llamas, a jackhammer, and five pounds of butter...and meet me in the Everfree Forest. Come awn, Twilie!!"
Twilight: "Pin--Pinkie?! Where am I supposed to find ONE llama? I don't think Fluttershy or Applejack has one....and what do we need with butter? Pinkie! Jackhammers are dangerous, you know! And noisy! It's nighttime, and everypony will hate us! How can we...what are we gonna...are you playing Blue's Clues or something?! PINKIE?? Awwwww, here goes!!" XDDD

Anyway, I love it. Twilight's face is so win in the last panel.
